I throw out quite a few statistics in this space. At first I thought I would site the sources at the bottom of each post. But then again, I’m just a guy with a website and siting sources isn’t what’s most important here. Still, I think if I expect people to take this seriously, I should make some attempt at documenting my sources. Keep in mind, the sites I use are all updated regularly so a statistic I include in any given piece, is likely to change after a few days, weeks, or months.
- For specific player statistics, I use the individual stat section of NHL.com
- For specific team statistics, I use the team stat section of NHL.com
- For team standings within the league, conference and division, I use the standings section of NHL.com
- For salary cap information, I use NHLnumbers.com
